Question tranny

I'VE GOT A 77 GMC 350 WITH TRANNY PROBLEMS. IT WAS OVERHAULED ALMOST THREE YEARS AGO AND NOW IT'S ACTING UP AGAIN. IT ONLY HAS THREE GEARS NO OVERDRIVE AND FIRST GEAR IS STRUGGLING. MY BABY RUNS BETTER IN THE MORNING BUT WHEN HER JUICES ARE HOT SHE STRUGGLES. IF ANY ONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT I CAN DO I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THEM.

Try adjusting your TV cable. The cable should be fully extended at full throttle. Adjust the black bracket forward to raise the shift points. Follow these general guide
1-2 15 MPH
2-3 22-27 MPH depending on throttle
3-4 45+ MPH depending throttle.
If you need specific instructions just post.
