? about accelerator cable's
I'm using a Spectre universal thottle cable mount w/ trans detent.
The opening for the accel cable is a square flange that should pop into place (like many current GM cables do) but on the '71 it uses a notched rubber that slides into place. Ok here's my question... Is there a cable out there that you know of that will "snap" into place with the square flange rather than a rubber "slide" in design? I was thinking the 73+ trucks have the snap in cable but they are no longer availible so its tough to order one into the shop and have a look. Has anyone used another year/design cable ? |
