Need advice on removing brake hose..

The passenger side brake hose is busted and I need to replace it. I could not remove it since its attached to a brake line that is on th inner part of the chassis. My problem is I have absolutly no angle with my flare nut wrench to get that hose off. Id there a "L" shaped flare nut wrench?? My truck is a 74 gmc by the way..Thanks

I've seen some S shaped wrenches before. Is that what you're talking about?

Re: Need advice on removing brake hose..

im not familiar with the hose setup on a 74 model, but is there any way you can cut the old hose off close to the fitting so you can put a socket on it?

Found them on Snap On but, they're boxed only and expensive.
Found them on Harbor Freight as well and they're cheap. Boxed only though. But, for the price, you could take a cutting wheel to one to make it a slip over the line. Just a thought...

Re: Need advice on removing brake hose..

I forgot about those. I bet that would work for him.
Good suggestion!
