bumper bolts-on the cheap
well, i was in need of a few bumper bolts today, and i thought i'd take a chance and go to the hardware store....(cause i'm a tight a$$)
walllah.....a 1 1/2" x 1/2" carriage bolt fits perfect! and they were only $0.30 a piece, v/s big $$$, well, at least big bucks to me hey, a few bucks saved, is a few bucks saved right?

i gotta chime in because I just did the same thing. I painted my bumper so I went with galvanized, and so now they will remain as the only item on my truck without rust. i am cheaper, i had these bolts left over from building my deck..

i need some as well and since i obviously have no need to chrome ones i too will get the carriage bolts from the local hardware store..
