head problem

I bought these world product heads for my 350 about 5 years ago...they have been in the boxes in my garage since I bought them.I did open one box and look at the head when I first got them and they were nice. They are cast iron with manley s.s. valves,220c.c.runners,64 c.c. straight plugs.here's the problem, since my frame and suspension are done and my cab is 90% done,I figured I would get the heads out and clean them up to get ready for painting,as my block is painted and I want to put the motor together.well,I was looking at the intake ports and on one of the heads, there is a hole about one inch long and 3/16" wide, thru the port and into the pushrod hole!Do you think this can be repaired? I really don't want to ignore it.any advice would be appreciated.

Re: head problem

Sounds like a casting flaw. I would try calling World Products and pleading my case. 631-981-1918.
