Well like i said i hope everybody is having a great holiday, great food, and family time. I know I sure am.

So i will make my question short and simple... where is the best place to mount the tank, compressor and valves for the air ride on a daily driver ?

and yes i do drive my truck in the snow

any feedback is appreciated

Another option to what hotrodhomi posted:

Since it's a daily driver, I would guess that you're keeping the spare tire under the bed. If not, then you could mount the tank, compressor and valves where the spare tire is located. If your don't have an auxillary fuel tank, you could also mount your air components there. One last option, if you're going with small air tank(s), would be to mount the it (them) under the bed outside of the frame rails between the rear wheelwell and the bumper. You could mount the rest (compressor and the valves) under the bed in the rear as well.

Since you're driving it in snow, you may have to protect the valves and compressor from the elements. Are you planning on running a water trap or dryer with your setup?

BTW, "... Can't decide between tri or para for back." <= Three link or four link????

what no pics of the truck?????? yes if you don't really work the truck the bed is a great spot or you could go inside the cab behind the seat if you like all that noise. Ha Ha Ha just kidding. i am guessing your truck is an 84 silverado?? if so then the aux fuel cell is in the way for that spot. Yes in the bed is best unless you need it . good luck man and keep us posted!!! happy holidays

the bed sounds like a great idea since i am planning on building a custom tonneau cover, i will get some pictures tomorrow or the day after...

sweet mn i would mount all of the stuff on a peice of sheet metal and then in the bed that way it is easy to remove and for a nice clean look

well i crunched some numbers and figured it would be kinda expensive (and time consuming) to try and build a tonnea cover (so my dad gave me an idea) i will just buy a pre-made one and modify it...

so now the question: where can i buy a tonnea cover ?
