No dash lights??????

What is the most common cause for having no dash lights but still have tail lights?

When I bought my '85 every single bulb in the dash was burnt out . Have you tried putting new bulbs in yet?

No I havent but it just seems that it would be somthig else scince they all went out at once.Unless one bulb going out would break the circuit.Im kinda leaning towards the headedlamp switch for now.

Had this happen on my 95 Jeep Cherokee. It was a fuse that popped. I replaced the headlight switch and then found out it was just a fuse. The whole cluster wouldnt light up , had brakelights.

95 jeep huh. yeah right. So I went to double check the fuses anyway and what do you know. I guess I missed it but it was the problem.

I have that same problem with mine but when I replace the fuse it pops as soon as I pull on the light switch?
