Maybe I missed the long range plans page....are you going to use an original style fender on there? Anyway, building it yourself is awesome. Keep up the pace and post those pics!!!!

how did you fill the upper body line {metal to fiberglass} have not had any luckwith this type bond.

The only thing I don't like about these beds is that the wheel cutout on the fender is flattened off on top and the earlier vintage trucks are round. Notice the front fender and rear fender are shaped different. Maybe I'm just being to picky but I saw some pics of the bed wheel well recontoured to match the front fender and it looks much better. It might have been photochopped.

did anyone notice that the bed was shorten on the rear, look how close the fender is to the tail light.
