SBC to BBC swap

So I want to build something with more power, mainly torque, and still be emissions legal and all that. So I am planing to take out my 350, Th350 combo and put in a 454 with the th400 I got. I really want a big block. So what all will I have to change? What motor mounts will I use and all that?

Re: SBC to BBC swap

Use factory big block mounts. There were two types, 68-71 and 72 only. Choose either and the 454 will drop right in.
