00-05 3/4 ton oem hitch - for hidden
1978Steven, I believe you made a good snag on the free 00-05 3/4 ton oem hitch. I have one side in place for your 71. It is in near the final position and I believe I will tack weld it up so it will be lined up with the orig side, then I will remove that side.
We measured 32" to the centers of the bottom of the rear frame rails on your 71 and it should line up behind your plate bracket completely hidden. Since we have the oem mount bolts and strengthening washers it should be as structurally sound. |
