250 carb jetting?

Can any of the inliners give me some advice here, I am looking at buying a holley 450 economaster for a built 250 and the seller will rejet the carb for me, and has suggested jetting it for a 305 sbc.....will this lead to problems or does this sound logical?
Any suggestions as to what I should ask for specifically with regard to the rest of the carb tuning? (trying to get the best of performance and economy).

Thanks
