I think the 67-87 trucks came with the option of rust on it looking at some of these trucks. I will try to get over to his house this weekend and take some pics for you.

Re: Goodmark Sheetmetal, good or bad?

Bill, I agree its not a perfect fit with a repop. Dies, metal, production etc. varies. I've seen it a run within hours. We as rebuilders and restorers should be glad they are around. Not many times you can pickup a pr.of SWB sides for $200 LOL!! Saved me over $600 I was ready to buy a pair. If you need it buy it if not break out the welder and bondo. After readin' this post I checked with a couple of vendors, from grill to t-gate. $2,100 to 2,400 will reskin a SWB. I guess its what you want to spend

Re: Goodmark Sheetmetal, good or bad?

Although I don't have experience as much as you 67-72 guys do with the 67-72's. I do have alot of 73-87 experience. No matter what you get be it aftermarket or new GM nothing will just bolt on and be perfect. Tolerances on pickups now are A LOT better than any of the 73-87's were, and the 67-72's aren't any better. I have bought new GM fenders for 73-80 and 81-87's and they needed the same manipulation as the repops did. This is why expert bodymen make big bucks.

I guess just to give this a bump, copperhead was all repop except the cab, right? I think the stuff was bought through early classic, but it was probably the same as goodmark stuff.
