Re: What should I do guys?

Dont skimp on that. Get teh Real deal Rhino or Line X. anything else will chip and fade. The pic that was posted up top...sorry but it looks like you got a bad job. I have never seen anything fade that fast other than the spray in stuff out of a can that I used in mine till I can afford to do it right. It should not fade like that and I would take my truck back every time it looked like that. That is unacceptable.

Re: What should I do guys?

There is nothing wrong with a guy that is sure of his capabilities. Doctors, Air traffic controllers and Nuclear workers tend to be that way, but if this guy is also an A$$ in the way he approaches you then you should look elsewhere. I believe that if he is good and it is just his personality, then I would look at his results and then make sure I had a good understanding between us of what I expected. If he is a total scum about that, then drive on to the next guy. Good work is always obvious and people should expect it, and not just be happy that it accidentaly happened. Doing it twice in this process is NOT an option. Guys like probably respond well to someone that is also coky and sure about what they want. If you approach him softly, then he will dominate the ordeal. The price of $450 for a black is probably about right in this world of increasing petroleum products prices. My Rhinos cost about $400 per short/wide bed (three trucks, different years of application) and I did not go over the bedrail (I think that is detrimental to good looks). The added cost for a color match is also about right.

Re: What should I do guys?

He wasn't really even cocky about his work, but about everything else in general. I made it obvious that I wasn't some punk kid while I was shooting the breeze, and he still continued on trying to feed me BS about this and that. Basically, things that you sit there and listen to, while in your head thinking "this guy is a total jackoff". I dunno, I emailed the next closest Line-X dealer with a quote request and if they are nicer and have a good price, I'll load it on the trailer and take my business elsewhere.

Do not blame you one bit. Line-X is worth a little drive in my books.
