Fuel Gage Problem
I have a 1971 truck and my fuel Gage is pegged to the far right. I installed a new sending unit because it broke.I wonder if the circuit board is bad please help.

I just ordered one of these to see if it fixes my gauge...but here is what you should measure between the posts of the gauge: using a volt ohm meter
Post to Post 36.4 ohms Left Post to ground 72.6 ohms Right Post to ground 65.5 ohms My gauge does work, but it is way off..so I am thinking it is the resistor on the back side of the gauge...it is a ceramic resistor....You can order a new on here: http://www.fix-a-gauge.com |

rsp- if it's pegged to the right it might be a ground issue.
Nitro- if your gauge is reading low it might be a hole in the float. These have been my experiences in the past.
