I Need Help, Suggestions, or Parts

Bought a set of new style rallies for my 70, 3/4 ton, GMC. I swapped the front drums for a disc setup years ago. After trying the new rallies on for size, I find out that the front spindles are 9/16" lug bolts, and the rear drums are 1/2" lug bolts. The lug nuts for the rallies are 9/16" thread. Any ideas on how to fix this?

How about drilling the rear drums for 9/16" studs?

Thumbs up

I had thought of that, but I wasn't to sure if it could be done. I guess I'll have to take it somewhere, as they are supposed to be a pressed fit? Just a little beyond my capabilities. Wish I would've known about this before I bought all new lugbolts for the drums and installed them. Ah well, it's only money.
