Bumper Questions?

Ok I Have Two Questions. I Like The Look Of The Small Bumper That Come On Blazers. (the Ends Dont Wrap Around The Sides) Will They Bolt Up To Our Trucks?

Has Anyone Out There Done A Bumper "tuck" If So Could You Post Some Picts And Explain Have You Did It.
Is There An Easy Way To Move It Closer To The Body Or Do You Have To Make A New Bracket?

Thankx

Re: Bumper Questions?

The Blazer/Burb bumpers are the same as the factory truck bumpers, so yes they will fit.

The only way to get it closer to the body is cutting something (frame end, mounts) and/or relocating the brackets.

Re: Bumper Questions?

what are the style that dont wrap around the ends. i've seen some on 67-72's
i thought i saw one on a blazer, not an early bumper but a smaller one that did'nt wrap around. ill see if i can find some pictures. i sound like blazer and 'burb bumpers are interchangable?

Re: Bumper Questions?

It sounds like you are talking about the same style as what Bigarmzz has but for the years 67-72 . I think those dont wrap around . Frank

Re: Bumper Questions?

hey bigarmzz what style bumper are you running on your lowered truck?
i reallu like the way your truck looks. in fact its one of my favorite non-bagged trucks. i looks great with the wheels you picked. im thinking of going with the same style only a little larger.

well, actually its just a roll pan...(lund )..

i tried to find a suburban style with the truck brackets, and gave up

but, i really dont recommend a lund roll pan...its fiberglass, and i had to modify it to get it to work....from what i've saw..i'd go with a mar-k steel if i had to do it over again

Re: Bumper Questions?

Yeah I Learned The Hard Way And Bought A Fiberglass One, It Sucks
I Never Installed It. Now I Like The Looks Of A Nice Clean Crome Bumper.now Im Stuck With A Roll Pan Ill Never Use, Should Have Gone With A Steel One. I Hate To Admit It But I Paid $180 Bucks For It. O Well Live And Learn.
