Re: New here

Some of the guys have opted to go with late model tanks with the washer pump in the tank instead of the factry one which is part of the wiper motor.

Re: New here

Welcome from central ohio...
I'd go to the parts store and grap a little inline replacement deal. IT'll spray harder and steadier than a stock replacement ever could.

Re: New here

I agree with everyone else. The factory washer pumps don't work all that well, and they are a pain to change out.

Re: New here

Welcome aboard cheech. I've done several with the old $10 generic pumps and they do great.

Re: New here

I think I'll blow the dust off this thread.

I just upgraded my washer system. I got a new tank/pump assy. from Mill Supply from Cleveland (I think thats where). it holds 1 gallon and mounts to a flat surface with 4 bolts. thier part # is 49-904. it cost about $12. I had to make a braket for one side though. I mounted the other 2 holes to the rad support. next I replace the squirter with one from a early 90's F150. I'll let you all know how it works once I get that far. pics to follow, possibly in a FAQ.
