I am converting my '69 drums to discs and will have the old parts left over. Is there much of a market for old drums, rotors, and m/c?

The stuff off my '67 went to the scrapyard when I swapped it for an entire '71 disk suspension. You could try the parts board, but my initial response is no. You can always try though. Maybe someone somewhere needs 'em.

One man's trash is another's... You know the rest, but with some guys staying rock stock its possible. Try it then ebay or if you have the room sit on them as you may need something down the line.

if they are good pieces keep them , sombody has a truck that that needs them

I've got a set that I've been trying to get rid of for 2 years. I still haven't found any takers. I'm going to be taking them to the scrap yard in a few months when I clean out my stash. I want to finish putting the truck together though before I clean everything out.

Thanks for the info. I have no room nor desire to keep them. If there is not a decent market for them than I will just get rid of them.

The best thing you can do with them, is give them do some one who is dead broke and trying to keep his junk on the road.
I coulda used some of that stuff a couple years ago on the old GMC. Ended up getting some junkl yard parts and buying little bit at a time untill I had all I needed, but that sucked rolling around in the winter with brakes that were pretty much dead.
But then again, I had an advantage... in the snow, no one has good brakes... I was used to it since mine sucked so bad.

I have offered the stuff to a local guy and if he doesn't want it I will offer it to the rest of the local community for pickup.

I gave mine to a friend with a '66...even though he has a service station. I didn't need 'em, and he said he'd take 'em. If he sold them, so be it.

I also have a pair of stock spindles from my sons' '96 GMC Sportside, which we lowered with DJM Spindles. Can't seem to give them away, either.

The parts I removed to put in the discs don't take up much room, I'll just hold on to them until they become ultra rare, because everyone else throws theirs in the scrap bin

I have a set of 8 lug front drums complete with spindels if anybody wants them (FREE)
You can have the whole rearend too if you want to come by and get it (Still attached to bare frame)
