I've never seen one like that before in any of the sales literature. I'd guess that its an after market product.

That looks like a radio out of a 64-66 chevy.

The only overhead consoles in our year's trucks were for the larger HD trucks or cab overs.

That looks mid 60'vintage... Somebody selling something again that doesn't know for sure what it is. Stay away from it. 67-72 cars and trucks had the push button radio's already.

I remember seeing the same thing in a junk yard a while back. IIRC it was in a 65 or 66.

Re: check this out. I have never heard of this option

I just saw this listed in a GMC service bulletin. It is correct for 67-68 larger and tilt cab trucks.
** I have a huge book full of bulletins containing accessories and options like this on ebay now - 8 hrs. left!! **

Here's a scan with that overhead console. This is from a 69 custom features book.

I'd be interested in that link as well.

Re: check this out. I have never heard of this option

Sorry I couldn't get a link - I got online briefly yesterday morning before work and didn't check back in 'till last night. Anyway, here's a picture of the overhead radio. This is for a 1966 model - I thought it was later until I checked the date on the bulletin ??

Re: check this out. I have never heard of this option

Yea my dad has one of these in his 1967 GMC Grain Truck. Another funny option that truck has is the v6 351. I remember he had that thing rebuilt like 10 years ago and it cost quite alot.

That's Pretty cool, I bet every judge in America would count off for that - you'd have to have the option sheet on the seat for them to see.
