Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Removal Troubles.......*please help*
I have a 70 GMC LWB and I'm trying to get the sending unit out of the tank, but it wont F**King budge and its driving me CRAZY!!! any recomendations?????

WD40 and some patience. it sounds like the rubber O ring is rusted to both the tank & sender. you may have to get in there carefully with a small screwdriver to push the O ring towards the inside a little so it lets loose.

pb blaster is better then wd-40 pb blaster is magintized to it sticks to the metal

Be careful with tapping on that tank, what you don't want is any sparks. Gentle prying after soaking with your favorite soaker juice such as WD40 or PB blaster. If you can dissolve the rubber gasket, that will make things easier also, brake cleaner comes to mind.
