Where do I find spring for auto column shift???
Hi All,
On automatic trannys that are column shift, there is a spring that slides onto the c-bracket that is bolted to the tranny (and it holds the floating bracket that the shift rod is connected), where in the hell can you get that spring brand new??? UDATE I found one on my spare tranny, but when I use that tranny I still need to find these. Will try Napa (the shops around here, the guy behind the counter just gives me a blank stare....) John, I don't think it is anything special. You can just measue the lenth and the diameter and go to NAPA and find a spring to work.
I have one in my tool box, if you are not in a hurry. I live at Fort Irwin, CA, but I am on temporary duty at Fort Gordon, GA til the end of the month. If you haven't found something by then, send me a message and I'll get it to you.

What are you doing for exhaust ? If you going thru the crossmember You might be better off looking at the Lokar setup. I have it on mine and it works great.

My local True Value Hardware has a spring assortment and I found one that works just fine on my th350, not exactly like the original though.
