let me introduce myself

whats up everyone, my name is adam, im new to this site just wanted to say hello. i built a 69 shortbed from the grille to the tailgate, even went as far as building bed cover, a fan shroud and made my own throttle return bracket out of a 1/2 , 7/16 boxed end wrench and a propane torch and used that composite decking board for the wood floor even got some 12" wide smoothies and tubbed it using the origonal wheel well just makin them 3" wider we also put 72 disc brake and a 72 rear end so has 5lug rather than the 6, we also installed a painless wiring harness that made a world of difference, so much nice than the old stock wiring set up. I also did the body work and paint with a little help from little brother and a few close friends this is how she turned out. Then i prob goofed and traded it to kingsolver72 for a harley but in the long run i ended up with a with a nice '51 5window that is under contruction as we speak. Just wish i wasnt laid off so i had more money to spend on it but atleast i got the time i guess.

Thats a very astute observation,although it seems when Adam and I traded the front sat lower,making it level,I could be wrong(Adam could clear things up)I had some front end work done on the truck shortly after I accquired it and it appeared to me that the front end was a bit higher than when I originally brought it home????

That is a beauty - I bet Gentry69 hates having gotten rid of it and Kingsolver72 is happy to have gotten it!

Kingsolver, that looks so good. That's the exact same wheels I'm going with on my 68 stepper.

The way I see it, both you guys won. Gentry got the satisfaction of building a great truck and Kingsolver the satisfaction of owning it. Enjoy for many years guys!!!!!!!!!
