Those of you who have 71-72 Factory 402's...How does your alternator mount. Does the brace run to the intake or to the head just above the exhaust manifold. I've seen them both ways...

72 Is a year all by itself it has 2 pieces,and if the piece i think your talking about is a little rod that runs from the main bracket to the side of the head.
