K5 Blazer cap

I was out walking a bone yard yesterday, and I happened accross a 1972 K5 Blazer that had a cap still intact on it.

The option sticker said it had the cheyenne package.

I am not an expert on truck caps, but right off the bat, I did not see any glaring damage, like cracks or crushed areas.

One thing it had was a flip up square vent in the back, like you see on pop-up RV's and the like.

I don't kow how rare these are, but If someone is interested, I'll tell them where to find it.

Re: K5 Blazer cap

I'd like to know where it is, as there are a few things I'm looking for for my 72 K5. My cousin also has a 70, and he may be interested.

Re: K5 Blazer cap

PM'd butzkeg and stachcold. Hey, some pictures would be cool. I tried to take some when I was there, but my crappy cell phone camera ran out of juice.

Re: K5 Blazer cap

Anyone is welcome to the parts there. I am really only in need of a new steering gearbox. I'll probably drop by there next time I go to Warren, as it's not too far from there. Good to hear of some Michiganders out there though.
