Power Window Kits?

Since I got a set of roddoors for Christmas I'm looking to purchase a power window kit. I'd like one specifically for our trucks, but I really don't want to pay that much. I don't think the Univeral ones on Ebay are worth a crap.

WOW!!!!! $425 for the kit at Early Classic. That's a little bit more than I wanted to spend.

Re: Power Window Kits?

Take it from someone that is currently installing power windows, the scissor style kit is the way to go! I bought one of the "universal" ram style kits and if I want to use it, I will have to have new glass cut that is 1.5" taller. John at Brothers Trucks has the correct kit coming my way now!

By the way, if anyone is willing to have new glass cut and is wanting a "universal" power window kit, I now have one for sale.

Re: Power Window Kits?

Looks like the kit from Early Classic is a just an Electric-Life kit. I have one sitting in my spare room ready to go on. It is a direct fit using your existing hardware. I bought it from Summit Racing. The part number for 67-72 Trucks is Electric-Life (GM49-K). Paid 249.95 + 8.95 handling charge. Looks like a nice unit.
