Replacement seat question....
In my 72' my seat is kind of cruddy, the foam is shot, the covers shot. For the price it costs for new foam, and vynel and sand blasting the brackets and painting im thinking it would be smarter to find a bench seat out of somthing newer, probably a pick up. Anyone have any details on what you have, and how you did it? Do you have pics? any info is a help, thanks guys...

Re: Replacement seat question....
I have seen several posts with pics of suburban seats and lots of 90's benchseats... I am planning the same move in a short while...

Re: Replacement seat question....
88-98 bench or buckets or 60/40 or 40/60 will fit. I chose to cut the frame down on mine so it sit below the rear window. They are simple to install drill 4 holes and use a large thick washer on the underside of the cab floor when bolting the seat in.
Also 90's ford benches can be made to fit and look pretty nice.

Re: Replacement seat question....
Here is a 98 60/40 , I wouldn't recommend it if you are over 6' and are going to keep the tank in the truck . I also have a Tilt ,and a later model wheel for more room .
You might want to do a Search we kicked this around awhile back .

Re: Replacement seat question....
73-87 seats will not fit properly. Your better off getting the stocker redone.

Re: Replacement seat question....
Do the 73-87 seats take more work than the 88 up seats? I'm asking because the seats I want dont have a bracket for a 67-72 but they have 73 up brackets. Here's a pic.
