Pics of my 81

I finally figured out how to post pics so here's one of my truck. Stupid place to take a photo with a pole right behind it.

It's sitting a little high, but when I get it lowered it'll look a lot better.

Re: Pics of my 81

That's one really nice truck as it sits. Good choice on the cam I have the same one in my 67. I love the way the truck runs. What millage do you get out of it ?
Now if the body on my 84 looked half that nice I would be set......

Re: Pics of my 81

Thanks for the compliments. Your truck looks good on my screensaver.
As for mpg, I don't really check all that often. I only drive it in the summer. But last time I did I got about 16 at 120 kmh on the highway. But that was with a set of wasted plug wires that were arcing on the headers so there may be a bit more in there. I suspect that with 3.42's I'll pick up a bit more mileage because I only pull about 1600 at 100 k. Kinda low with a carb and a cam that doesn't have great bottom end. With the new gears I'd be right about 2000-2200 at the speed I like to go.
Right after I get it lowered and the new gears the next project is to build the 406 I have in the shop.
