Tailgate Color ?
can anyone till me what is the factory color for the lettering on a Red 71 K-20 , Chevy . White Or Black ?

I`ve always seen white on the medium to dark colors and black on the lighter ones.In fact,I think black only on white,the rest white.Sounds like your friend`s should gold leaf.

The truck is a friends , Would you belive its a 4X4 Factory posi front & back , tow hooks ,Factory Red & only 15000 Miles & no Rust Ever . This was an old fire truck he jest bought. only thing there was no tailgate . Thanks
