WANT: OEM 58-59 rear fleetside bumper - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm diving in deep water into the 58-59 field after being away for a few years. I want an original 58/59 fleetside rear bumper bar and the brackets. The bar can be a little rough as long as I can work it over. I do not want repo at this point. Anyone panning one that has this type of bumper left over?
You may see me looking for your left over stock parts as I am trying to build a bone stock original V8 fleetside.
Any leads appreciated.

By the pictures I'm not sure if it has the rear bumper? Looks like a decent truck too. I just talked to a guy in St Louis about a factory 59 bumper and brackets with the license bracket. I'll know middle of next week if this is going to pan out.

JDL, did you ever confirm whhether the truck had rear bumper & brackets? Know someone who needs one along with a complete passenger door.

no it does not have a stock rear bumper

I got my stock factory fleetside bumper and brackets. Sending it to the chrome plater and he thinks he has another core. Told him I'd take that core of his chromed also if it is a duplicate to my fleetside core. Also have a line on a set of oem brackets and the license holder. But this original 2 year only stuff is expensive.
