Hello from Washington!
Hey guys......Great site! My name's Josh. I stumbled across the site looking for some info on my recently acquired '69 Suburban. I've also got an '80 SWB Chevy pu with a built 454. I've done all the work myself including the paint. Still not finished though. Need to get door panels and the seat recovered.
My Suburban is all stock....six cyl.,4-speed,manual brakes and steering..etc.. I plan on pulling the BB out of the '80 for the '69, lifting it for 35's and using as my tow rig (sand dune rig ). I've also got a few "other" cars not related to this site I'm working on as well. Hard to find the time to work on 'em all. I hope to learn a few things and contribute to the site, maybe meet a few folks, and just have FUN! Later Josh |

Welcome to the bard from Texas and another Josh. Nice truck. You can learn a lot in here if you hang out for awhile.

Re: Hello from Washington!
Nice hot-rod Chevy. My dad had a brand new 79 longbed C10 with a 305. Put 60 series in the back, Keystones on all 4, Holley 450 and Eldebrock manifold with dual glasspacks.

Welcome form Ceres, CA. Is it the old suburban has only three doors? I saw a guy almost get into a fight over that.
