Body Mount thickness???

I just received my body mounts today for my 72 4x4 Blazer. After opening the box, which is labeled 67-72 Blazer, the mounts sure look thin. 8 of the 10 are only 1/2 inch thick. Is this correct? The originals, that are smushed flat, look to be more than 1/2 inch thick. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks David

Re: Body Mount thickness???

Same as mine. They'll seem thicker as you're trying to install them, if you're doing a body on installation.

Re: Body Mount thickness???

Mine were thin like that too. They are not mushy like the originals though. Hard feeling plastic.

Re: Body Mount thickness???

There should be a chart showing where each set goes.

They vary in thickness and are 'location' specific.

Re: Body Mount thickness???

If I remember correctly, the two thickest ones installed at the radiator support. The rest were pretty much interchangeable.

Re: Body Mount thickness???

The LMC catalog has a great pic of where the mounts go.
