trailing arm help

are the trailing arms the same from a '71 lwb , and a '68 swb,
my problem is that I'm changing to 5 lug rear , on the '68, and
noticed that the right side trailing arm is tweeked a little, I have a '71
donor, and I'm pretty sure they are the same just mounted farther back
for lwb, also are the brake cable mounts the same?
any help is greatly appreciated..John

Re: trailing arm help

I believe the trailing arms are the same between the SWB and LWB trucks from 67-72.

Re: trailing arm help

I pulled one out of the 60-66 trucks and it appears to be the same as well, any thoughts on that? I pulled it because it is beefed up with all kinds of plates (factory from heavy truck heavy half or 3/4ton, not sure) I need to go back and get the matching pair as they look WAY stronger than the two piece ones that are riveted together. Not rying to jack, just picking the brains of those who KNOW!
