NV4500/205 combo
I have a new rebuilt NV4500 that I bought recently and have decided not to use. It's a 99' version with hydrolic bellhousing. It includes the bellhousing and shifter. I have it bolted to a very nice 88' NP205 using an AA adapter. The 205 has been disassembled and cleaned.I repainted it and resealed it. I would take $1700 for just the NV4500 or $2250 for the whole deal.I want to use it but have no need for it at this time .

Re: NV4500/205 combo
I didn't realize that a NV4500 pulled in that much money. That is amazing, I guess that I will be rebuilding mine instead of replacing. Good luck on the sale of yours.

Re: NV4500/205 combo
They cost $2,400 new last I checked and that was about 3 years ago.Get this,I`ve bought two from GM.When I bought the last one GM wanted my old one or a $500 core!Pretty wierd since it was a new crate unit and they don`t sell rebuilts.Just shows the demand and value. If you were nearer,I`d consider it.

Re: NV4500/205 combo
I guess that I did ok, I bought a running '92 GMC 3500, 5.7l with the NV4500 for $2,300.00 canadian, about $1,900.00 US. Only downside, the PO ran her a little dry on gear oil I think, the synchros grind a little, ok a lot when you try and downshift. I am running the correct ACDELCO oil and it has quieted down a bit but not a lot, any ideas or time for a rebuild. BTW I used that chassis for my '68 buildup.
