Anyone carry Axle flip kits for 50's trucks?
I am putting my 78 on hold to work on my 59 while the cab is out for body and paint. It is time to do the frame up, I want to flip the axle. Do I have to make a kit myself or does anyone have a recommendation on a kit. I have only bought stuff from DJM and they don't list anything for my truck.
Best regards and thanks as always for bailing me out guys, Shawn

My buddie used a Camaro diffirential and it bolted on short of the shock mounts. If I remember right. What are you doing for axels and front brakes ?
Check CPP they might have a kit to flip the stock rear.

Thanks Mario I will check it out. I have a Camaro Subframe under it already, I am trying to get the back as low as the front.

Re: Anyone carry Axle flip kits for 50's trucks?
The rear dif is a 10 bolt posi unit out of a 70's Camaro also. Sorry I am not sure what I was thinking. My Dad welded the mounting brackets on it off of the original rearend if I remember correctly. All I see listed on CPP's page is IRS set ups and 4 Links. I guess a 4 link will work but it kida throws the whole budget thing off. I guess I can flip the axle with out a kit, it will just take some doing.
Thanks again for the help. I will update when I figure out what way I am going to go.

So are you using the camaro diff ? I am positive my buddie bolted his camaro diff in place on the stock leafs and it's already fliped from the camaro. All he had to do was fab up shock mounts. That would save you some money ?
