Convertible trucks?

I saw a roadster truck I think it was on Ebay, had a soft top of some sort in place with snaps, they had put braces at the sides of the seat to stiffen the cab back, are there any threads or links on how to do? I tried search function but couldn't find anything. My 70 inner roof is so rusted I'm thinking of cutting the top off.

Re: Convertible trucks?

There would be no reason to brace the cab. The roof doesn't support the frame like on acar where the roof is 1/2 the length of the vehicle.

Re: Convertible trucks?

Been there done that...bracing is highly overrated! BTW...this one is all yours if you want to come and get it! This one even has an engine, tranny and shaved stake pockets...LOL!

Re: Convertible trucks?

Yea that soft top on that truck looks pretty gay. I know they make a fiberglass roof for your truck. My body man was trying to sell me one, no idea where he got it from. Sorry I'm not more helpful.
