Heater control valve - 71 pickup
Got my ac vacuum control switch working today. Also, got the vacuum hoses hooked up. I noticed when I moved everthing to heat, the control valve would leak. Does this indicate a bad control valve or is something hooked up wrong?

i havent seen one leak, well the hose running to it, but not the valve its self. sure couldnt hurt to replace it though, they are not very expensive.

Is it a new valve or old one you might have some debris in it not letting it seat right. What size of vacum hose did you use?

It's an old valve. Debris did cross my mind. Guess I'll have to check. I used the normal sized small hose for vacuum. Sam size as what connects to the control panel in truck.
