LTB - with questions :-) What is a 8H hole?

Hi again,
My pickup is a 72 4x4. I'm looking for new steel wheels that can fit on 9/16" studs. I'd like to keep it as close to stock as possible, but I really want safety beads on my wheels. I carry around a 2300lb camper sometimes, and I don't want a low tire to ruin my day/night/truck. I'm thinking of going with 16x7s, to put 265/75/16's on them. Except the load rating I've been able to find on Off Road All Terrains are D, which I'm really thinking I want E.

Ford's accuride wheels seem pretty good, but I don't know if my hub-caps would fit. They have a 8H hole, and a 6.5" center hole. I'm not sure if they are the ones appropriate for my application.

My current wheels have bolt holes that are pretty small. When you torque down the lug nut it pinches the very end of the bevel, and malforms the nut itself. Yuck! I have the stock steelies, but no saftey bead so they are garbage (to me).

Please advise.

Re: LTB - with questions :-) What is a 8H hole?

8 by a 6.5 center hole is standard for all makes of 3/4 & most 1 tons. Except for the 99 & up Furds which use some funky oddball metric pattern. As for the lugnut seating issue that would have to be solved buy purchasing special nuts from a tire shop I think. Best to take a wheel into a tire shop and ask their advice.

I have 16x7 Ford wheels on my 72. The look great and fit the caps just fine. I have 245/75/16's on my 2wd 3/4ton.
