Back Glass Tint Kits?
Wondering if anyone knows of any vendors that would have a pre-cut tint kit for a back glass on a '72 C-10. I am looking for tint that is as dark as the tint on the back of a newer SUV. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: Back Glass Tint Kits?
my .02. Take your window out to tint it. Don't worry about a pre-cut kit. Lay the window down flat and put the tint on. Then when it is dry, us a razor blade and trim the edges. Reinstall with the weatherstripping covering the edge of your tint. It makes for a much cleaner install, and you are less likely to have peeling at the edges.
If you cannot work clean, window tinting is not for you. You've seen those tint jobs driving around town full of bubbles and peeling away. Each bubble started life as a dust spot. Cleanliness is imperitive for tinting. If you consider taking the window out, look into a tinted sliding window, It may be inexpensive enough to make it worth the money vs. work

Re: Back Glass Tint Kits?
I always wanted to do my own too, but if it bubbled up I would
have to jump over the falls..... So I pay a pro in town $100 and it is free replacement 4 life. Insultint is the name of the place.
