Post Junk yarding tips

I found out that besides gauge clusters their are many parts the series 40-60 trucks have in common with the 10-30 series. Many of you may know this but I didn't till I started looking closer. Here's what I noted:

Doors and door components (inner panels, handles, latches, etc).

3 spoke steering wheels identical to those used in 67/68.

Heater controls and radios

radio delete plates.

Cig lighters and delete plugs.

Visors

dash pads

Series 40 cabs looked to be same as ours though I did not compare that closely.

Anyway next time you are browsing, find the 40-60 series and take a look. The 40 series was the closest and I think the 60 series cab had more differences.

I think the C/40 had the front of the door chopped off, along with the front edge of the cab...but I'm not 100% sure.
Good tip though. I check out anything and everything old. Some neat sh!t will bolt on sometimes.
