Fuel Pump Question

I bought an ECE Stainless Steel rear mount tank in 2003 and this year I'm finally going to install it. That will be my this years project and maybe (depending how much overtime I get at work) buy my suspension lowering kit and get it installed. My question is should I get an electric fuel pump or even a larger capacity regular fuelpump or is the stock pump adequate seeing the gas will have along way to go to get to the carb. I'm running a 396/350hp with an Edelbrock Carb and I do not know the carbs specs. The truck runs great as it is now. Anyone got any electric fuel pump recommendations. I was also thinking if I went with the electric pump I could put a kill switch on the line and use that as an anti theft device.

I don't see any reason why the stock pump won't be sufficient, but a cheap performance model (direct replacement) would be an easy, cheap upgrade.

Electric pumps can be nice, but many are noisy. Also, remember pumps push much better than they pull, so if you go electric make sure you mount it back by the tank. One benefit of an electric pump is just what you mentioned - the ability to use a kill switch for security. Works great as long as you hide the switch well.
