Lightbulb looking for the right book??????

I didn.t want to steal 53 burbs thread but a good book or books on tpi setups (what will fit what-wiring -computer details- fuel pumps-cam mods-how it works-) I am 55 years old when i was wrenching for a living the only thing that had a computer was the navy and it took up a whole building. If you had A carb and spark you were all set. I have wanted to do it to one of my trucks but i must admit I would be in pre school compared to some of you. any books with illustrations out thier that would work for me. the one in 53 burbs post got all bad reviews. thanks for any help.
