Anyone here ever use a Goodyear shop hoist?
Just wanted to get some opinions on how well this lift works, Sams Club has this unit for 179.00.
I built my own years ago and love the way it works but its 7 feet long and takes up alot of space, the goodyear lift folds up and takes up about 3 foot of space. I usually build many of my own tools but I can buy this thing cheaper than building one.

That's what I got, I love it. The first one I bought's ram didn't work, but I took it back and they exchanged it without a problem. I have had it for about 6 months and have used it several times. I like it a LOT better than my dad's old awkward set up that takes up an entire corner of his shop.

I've been seeing that one for less than $200 at Sam's Club warehouses. They also have lightweight floor jacks too.

Mine is not goodyear but is identical and it is the best I've ever had. It fits in the corner of my garage. You'll love it.

my neighbor just bought one like that about christmas time at farn &fleet for $100 or $129 but without the leveling sling it works great but i did notice that the boom dosn't extend as far as some it worked great on me truck and his gto but doubt it it would reach to pull the engine on my shark bodied corvette

I have one identical with another name on it. It works really well. I also have the goodyear engine stand, a few of the bolt holes on it didnt line up put a drill fixed it. The engine stand is currently holding my LS1.

The one I borrow all the time looks a lot like that and works good. Easy fold up and haul around too.
