Unusual Bed (Wood) Question

Has anyone redone their wooden bed and then done undercoating/rhinolining/line-x on the sides and fenders? I plan to still use my bed but want to look good and don't want to repaint the whole truck. Anyone done this or have any thoughts? Pics??

I priced a spray on liner for the Longhorn wood bed . . . $495 plus $100 prep for the wood. They couldn't guarantee the liner on the wood floor, and the coating is PERMANENT - no going back to a painted surface without a LOT of work to remove the liner.

If your bed isn't too rusty, I'd go with standard body repair & paint - it's a lot cheaper!

I was thinking of Rhino Lining the sides and tailgate and headboard, then putting the wood back in. No? I thought that might look cool.

I was thinking the same thing. I know the lining would be a b***h to remove if I ever wanted to go back to metal but by then I'll either pay someone to do it or get a whole new/used/repop bed. Plus it would stop the rust and make it tough, functional and not bad looking. This would work especially well for those color match linings!
