I'm such a little kid right now...

Ok, I must say that a little 2x3" pic has just completely made my day . A buddy called me up this AM and informed me that my truck hade made the Whoops section of one of the offroad mags. What did I do, but of course ran out and got a copy. Sure enough there my '72 Blazer sits in a big 'ol mud hole . The pic was from the first time that I had run the truck after putting it back together. It'd been so long since I submitted the pics, that I had completely forgotten about it. Yup...it's cheesy...but I'm about as geeked as a kid after x-mas!

I'm not sure which one, petersons or another. But one of the new ones has a big'ol white one on the cover. I think its been in the same or other mags before 'cuz i remember the custom soft top. They said an etimated $45G have been put into it.... 4 link cross over susp. and all... its fancy alright!

Re: I'm such a little kid right now...

Saw it too, got my new mag Saturday. About 4 year ago a letter of mine printed in FourWheeler, that was pretty cool. One of the guys in my class asked me if I wrote them a letter because he saw my name in there.

Pretty Cool!

Re: I'm such a little kid right now...

Yeah, I got my mag on Saturday as well. Unfortuantely for me today, it was in the "reading room" at home and I hadn't gotten to the Whoops section yet. After my buddy told me about the pic, I had to run out and get another copy, just to make sure he wasn't BSing me!

My wife doesn't seem too understand the novelity. She's like the only reason that you got in the mag was because you got stuck! Arg...Women...they'll never understand!

He's the original...of course it was cropped down & such.
