Dash lights not working!

My dash lights seem to be on the fritz. Sometimes they'll work, sometimes they won't. I know it's not the fuse. I just replaced the light switch. What else could it be? Somebody help. This is kind-of aggravating.

That's got my vote. A lot of the trucks wiring has to pass through that connector. Unplug, clean, dielectric grease, plug back in.

First make sure the dimmer on the headlight switch isn't turned off (all the way to the left)

Re: Dash lights not working!

Third for a grounding issue, in all the dashes I have restored 99.9% of the time if there was an issue with the dash lights it has been a grounding problem. Randy

Re: Dash lights not working!

Now that I'm an expert on this ,

Just make sure that the black wire from the plug(should have U-Clip) in grounded. The only other thing would be the printed circuit board.

Good luck Matt
