What's the tallest K&N I can get under a 72 Hood?

I am getting ready to order me a K & N for my truck and want to make sure I clear the hood....Thanks

I run a 14x4 K&N on mine and I've seen a truck with a 14x5 it looked good but alittle tall to me but it did fit. Here is a pic of mine.

Thanks, I'm running a Edelbrock 1406 w/ele.choke its been a good carb for 3 yrs. now. I'm not sure if the K&N will fit a Demon carb or not but I don't see why it wouldn't . Good luck with the swap.

So you're happy with the 1406? What did you pay for it new? I'm not sure exactly what I'm going with for sure, but I need something that will perform.
