Got the 67 C-10 appraised today

I just completed a restoration on a 1967 C-10. I figured it was worth around 10K. I put it in TruckTrader and NorthWestclassicautomall for that price. I got a few calls, most said it was too nice for what they were going to do with it. I decided to get an official appraisal done so I could advertise the fact that it was truly a 10K truck. I used an outfit called "International Vehicle Appraisers Network", they do Rods, Customs, Muscle cars, etc. The guy crawled all over the truck for nearly 2 hours. It appraised out at $15,000 and was rated as a #2 1/2. The seat needs to be redone and the truck needs to be lowered to get even more. If I had known it would appraise out at $15,000 I would have listed it for more.

I have seen the pics and it i a very nice truck. Just remember regardless of what it appraises for it's only worth what the market says it's worth. You just have to find the right market...

Ya, I'm happy with a 2.5. A 1 is an undriven museum piece and a 6 is a parts car. So, the killer cars you see at car shows are most likley 2's and 3's. I think a 4 is a nice driver. Something like that.

I'll let my adds expire than shoot for 12-14K. I'm still working on some little things now anyway. Might use this time to lower the truck and redo the seat.
