Opinions wanted.... truck on Ebay
Hi everyone
I am seriously considering buying this truck. I'll send the link (hope it works). My question is, what would you say is a fair price for this truck. I think it will be interesting to see the different results because of market values in all different areas. Thanks for your help. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1859320110

WOW, that truck is CHERRY! I couldn't see anything wrong with it! I would have to say that truck is worth $18,000 -$20,000! But that is just a guess! I say go for it! Oh I noticed you where in Canada............... My guessed price is in american $$$$ so that means you would be spending twice as much??? OUCH!

That is sorta what I figured around that 18,000$ mark US. You know it is strange, What I have really noticed the last year or so although the market for these trucks is very strong, they dont seem to be bringing the big dollars these days. I dont know what it is? Especially on ebay. I have also noticed as I am sure many of you have, alot of these rigs for sale seem to spend months advertised in various Auto sale publications. Or on ebay many of these auctions end without meeting their reserves.

Another WOW here !!!!!!! That's my dream truck !!!!!! I wanted to paint mine black but didn't know what to do with the interior,,,,,,,,,that grey and woodgrain look awesome !!!
I have no idea what this truck is worth but I would buy it before I would a new one. Wish I had time to drive up and look at it for you but maybe you could find out exactly where it's at and somebody on here could look at it for you. I know there are a bunch of "Tennesse Vol's" that are members on here !!!!! Good luck and if you get it, drive down here to Atl. so I can drool on it !!!!!!!!! LOL

In my opinion, these trucks that are super nice, do spend a while on the market. But I think the majority of sweet classic rides will stay on the market for some time before the right guy comes along and buys it. This truck should probably sell for around 18 k, but who knows!!
All I know is when I am done with mine I will not take less thn probably 25 k for it. I will never really want to sell it but money talks and B.S. walks!

Looks like a nice truck. But I wouldn't spend that kind of money without driving it and looking it over. Technically, once you place a bid on ebay you're contractually bound and there's no backing out unless someone else outbids you. If you go to car shows you'll find one for sale sooner or later.

That is a very nice truck but looking at the VIN# he has listed, it looks to be a made truck. I don't think its worth over 10 or 12 G's. Just my 2cents.

I e-mailed him on the 18th with questions on vin, appraised value by a licensed company and ball park reserve price. super72bb if it checks out you might want to buy it and take it on vacation to Daytona Florida Turkey Run in November and get a big fat cashiers check from the Germans brokers that come over to buy collector vehicles for customers. They look for 67-72 restored stock trucks,67,8,9 stock ss,rs,yenko camaros, any oddball copo chevys and 67-72 big block ss chevelles that have not been modified into hotrods. Pre 70 impala ss convertibles are BIG sellers also.
