omg i'm back!
well i was house sitting my parents place this weekend and decided to mess with the truck some. tuned the carb and idle a bit more and seems to be running better now that i drove her since she's been neglected by not having been driven in a while. also took the chance to take some pics of her since i hadnt had any since the body work was done let me know what ya think

good to see ya around again. first off i thought you sold your truck? and secondly i thought you got a gti 1.8t?
i also came home for the weekend and washed and waxed my truck that has been sitting since sept. when i went to school. anyways, the new paint and shaved mirrors look great. now polish thoes wheels!!!

I seen a pretty sweet mod that would go perfect with your truck. Shave those bumper bolts then get it re dipped. That's what I would do and at first it wouldn't be that noticeable but more of a blended in look. I saw it on a rerun of Trucks but your truck has the look for it.

yes, it was FILTHY when i took those pics i'm living in edmond at an apartment so the truck stays in okc at my parents place. my dad drives it every now and then, its maybe seen 400 miles in the past 5 months.
i think on the weekend i'll start going over there and working on it some more. cant spend much money on her though, since we've got a baby boy coming at the end of april |

Eric: What did you use for a temperature sending unit when you switched engines? Did you have to swap it for a different, larger diameter one to fit your new heads? See my post regarding my problems:
