6 stud standard?
just a quick question on if all 6 lug wheels are the same spacing or are they different from vehicle brand to brand?
Found some rims from a 1990 Suburban and wonder if the 6 lug stayed the same till then and up into any newer trucks? Thanks for any info... Hagen

I beleive they stayed the same, the only difference might be when you get 4x4 wheels, the hole for the center hub may be different size than a 2wd.

I got 86 4x4 ralleys on my 69 and they fit ok. A lot of guys do this.

The only other problem would be early drum-type 2wd on later disc 4wd.Also,the 88-up type are more inboard/less dish or narrower track.I see the wheels in question are from a`90 Suburban.So,that`s a 4wd and you`re fine.

6 lug AMC fit too, but you have to open up the center hols a little.
Those '90 burb wheels MAY have a real small center hole that won't work on the older hubs, and the back spacing would be WAY off and look flat out retarded. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 02-16-2006 at 12:10 AM. |

open up the center hole a little.
The back spacing on them are a little funny too. I had 70-something wagoneer wheels on the front of my 69 GMC SWB. They were tucked in just a bit too much for my taste, and the rear ones woulda rubbed with the 275 wide rubber in back.
